{"id":450,"date":"2017-08-31T10:58:40","date_gmt":"2017-08-31T14:58:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.blogs.euni.org\/?p=450"},"modified":"2017-08-31T10:58:40","modified_gmt":"2017-08-31T14:58:40","slug":"the-christmas-gifts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.blogs.euni.org\/?p=450","title":{"rendered":"The Christmas Gifts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fred and Mary were trying to work out how to give five gifts to their three boys for Christmas.<\/p>\n<p>The kids, Henry, Mark and Joe, had told them they wanted to receive gifts more or less at random this year to see how the gifts would be distributed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have five gifts to give to three children. How are we going to do this, Mary? There are so many possibilities it makes my brain spin,\u201d said Fred in exasperation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, Fred, we have to make sure they all get at least one gift, so that makes it easier than the way you are thinking of, doesn\u2019t it,\u201d Mary said reassuringly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re right, Mary.
