{"id":627,"date":"2018-05-20T18:42:21","date_gmt":"2018-05-20T22:42:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.blogs.euni.org\/?p=627"},"modified":"2018-05-20T18:42:21","modified_gmt":"2018-05-20T22:42:21","slug":"new-year-rocket-firing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.blogs.euni.org\/?p=627","title":{"rendered":"New Year Rocket Firing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Two mathematicians, Albert and Lenny, were busy firing off rockets to celebrate New Year\u2019s Eve.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHey Albert, how many rockets do you have left?\u201d asked Lennie, who loved to see and hear the rockets burst into colorful explosions in the night sky.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, Lennie, I have exactly half as many rockets as I have matches in my matchbox,\u201d replied Albert cryptically.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInteresting. So how many matches do you have in your matchbox?\u201d asked Lennie.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf I hadn\u2019t used 20 of the matches, I would have had exactly half a box full,\u201d said Albert cheerfully.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I wonder how many matches there were in the matchbox when it was full?\u201d asked Lennie.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cExactly six times as many as the number of rockets I now have,\u201d answered Albert.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGreat!! Now we can keep firing rockets for a while,\u201d replied Lennie happily.<\/p>\n<p><em>Can you work out how many rockets Albert had? <\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"sharedaddy
