\u201cWelcome to the Buenavista Travel Agency promotional dance, amigos. At\nthe end of the evening some of you may become the winners of a world tour, all\nexpenses paid,\u201d announced Carlos Sanchez, the host, in a promising tone of voice.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cJill, this is a great party,\u201d said Jack, stepping rapidly to the salsa\nrhythms. \u201cLet\u2019s see about winning the prize at the end of the evening.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThat\u2019s probably why we are each wearing a number, Jack. Love this kind\nof dancing,\u201d said Jill, gyrating her hips and twisting her body to the\ncaptivating music. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Later, at the end of the evening, after a loud fanfare from the band, Carlos\nSanchez took up the microphone again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cBuenos amigos, we have arrived at the magic moment of selecting the winners\nof the world tour. Soon eight random numbers will appear on this screen,\u201d said\nCarlos Sanchez, indicating a display suspended from the ceiling above him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jack and Jill fixed their attention on the display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIf the number you are wearing appears, please sit at the table here to\nmy left,\u201d said Carlos Sanchez, indicating a small, round table nearby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jill moved closer to the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cShould you then also see your partner sitting at the table, you will both\nhave won a world tour,\u201d said Carlos Sanchez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201dI\u2019m sure we\u2019ll win,\u201d said Jill animatedly, \u201cI\u2019ve already bought a new travel\ncase.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n
